Hawks Nest Beachside Pro-Am

In partnership with the PGA of Australia, the Hawks Nest Beachside Pro-Am is one of the most sought after events on the schedule, with a prize purse of $50,000.

2023’s Event saw HNGC take the NSW/ACT Tournament of the Year award at the PGA Golf industry awards and we look forward to making 2024 even better.

For those of you not familiar with a Pro-Am event, they offer a unique opportunity for you to compete alongside a PGA professional. On the course, you’ll get to see first hand how some of the best professional’s in the country play the game before enjoying post game hospitality to review the round.

All players will be competing individually and as a team with their professionals for various prizes, including a nearest the pins cash prize sponsored by Ray White and a hole-in-one prize sponsored by Yamaha.

Spectators are more than welcome to join, as there are fan zones along the course featuring drinks and food trucks for everyone to enjoy!

Terms and Conditions for the Hawks Nest Beachside Pro Am 2024

Participation in the Hawks Nest Beachside Pro Am is subject to the terms and conditions below.

1.Payment is required in full to process your registration and in the unlikely case HNGC cannot meet your requested requirements for the tournament (ie preffered tee time, all team players etc), HNGC will refund your payment in full.

2.Amateur players who notify Hawks Nest Golf Club of their withdrawal from the tournament will be subject to the following cancellation fees.

  • Before 9th of August 2024 – Full refund of monies paid.

  • From the 9th of August but before the 16th of August – Credit as clubhouse dollars or golfing vouchers for total amount of monies paid.

  • From the 16th of August – no refund or credit will apply.

3. In the case of tournament disruption/cancellation due to weather or other circumstances;

  • If the tournament organisers determine the course is playable, no refund will be provided should you choose not to participate.

  • If the tournament organisers deem the course unplayable, a refund will be offered according to the tournament’s condititions of play.

4. In the instance of a professional withdrawing from the tournament after commencement of play during day one of the event for any reason, the Organising Committee will use its best endeavours to find a replacement professional, who will act as a substitute for the pro-am team score.

5. Format of the tournament.

Professional Event – Stroke 36 holes 

Amatuer Events – 

  • Single Stableford Daily Event

  • Team Stableford with Professional.

  • 36 hole Amatuer Winners.

5. Handicaps – All players must hold a GA handicap. Maximum 36.0 for males and 45.0 for Females.
